Description

This new collection of poems by Sharena is a brave, direct and personal exploration of the dark and often unspoken experiences of a woman’s life. Each poem draws you in to a world at once familiar and sometimes shocking but telling a very real story to the point and with emotion.

‘Sharena’s poetry is a live demonstration of how poetry enables survival and healing. Her voice is honest, candid and vulnerable and this collection is a generous offer to the world!’

~Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan

‘I cried whilst reading some of the poems as Sharena has the ability to fully submerge you in the life and experiences of the women depicted so intimately.’

~Dionne V Hood
