This anthology represents the work of the inaugural cohort of a new programme – a nascent community of poets and performers to add to the map of poetry activity in Birmingham. From the first session through to the frenetic activity that often arises in producing an anthology or programme showcase, the months have passed quickly, but this body of work stands as testament to some of the prompts offered, drafts attempted and conversations sparked through the time we’ve spent with each other.
